A laundry room sink can be handy to have for oh so many reasons.   Parents with small children will probably appreciate them the most since they provide a convenient place to pre-rinse or soak extra dirty clothes before they make their way into the washing machine.  Beyond that, there are many other uses for having a sink in the laundry room.  If you use the room to do hobbies and craft projects, the sink can come in handy.  It makes clean up quick and easy.  My husband uses our laundry room as his photography dark room so having a sink in there was an absolute must.

Basically, it is great for anything you wouldn't want to do in the kitchen sink!
